Kiwi Land Cruiser Is Expensive But Worth It!

Saw one of these here the other day on a trip, the petrol V6 or may be the Straight-Sex but it made a fantastic noise and it was quick. The guy saw our caravan of muddy Pajeros and LCs, and floored it. It was a single-cab, long bed one and man it sounded and felt great.

All of us had their hopes up to go back home, and plan for one until some one broke the news that they are as expensive as the new Land Cruiser Prado. Costs more than the FJ cruiser and they have a bigger range too and...I want to drive one so bad because later on at the rally, during a hill climb, the Thai Hilux Vigo struggled to climb up a sand ramp, and this just went up there. Fantastic machine, still a lot of reading to be done on these as the Diesel V8, though people compare it with the bullet proof 1HD, the 1VD hasn't quite satisfied the Australians and Kiwis.

They're available in many many trims and with either 4 liter V6 or 4.5 liter V8 that you get in the standard land cruiser (some variants of the LX570)

70 series...so hot. Did it have the hood scoop as pictured? if so its probably the V8. Its weird that that sell it with the 2gr AND the 1fz...now that I think of it, its got the triple weird going on:
